Workshop: Supporting child mental health through tuition with Nicole Bateman

Nicole will be working with tutors to take a bird’s eye view of the importance of child mental health within the context of tuition.

She will work on how to recognise different stress responses that the children you tutor might display.

With a focus on developing some key strategies that tutors can share with young people to use when they are feeling stressed, this workshop will help you as a tutor embed a supportive approach that ensures that working towards exams doesn’t have a detrimental impact on their mental wellbeing.
